My love for sports and pursuit of general fitness started early in life. I grew up playing every sport I could get into, from baseball and football to downhill skiing and ice hockey and everything in between. I joined my first gym with my dad when I was 13 years old and never looked back. Through the years I have been a part of huge “globo” gyms, home gyms, hole in the wall muscle head gyms, and 24 hour access gyms. When I stepped into CrossFit for the first time I knew that I had finally found a model that was maintainable long term and would do the most to improve my functional strength and mobility in everyday life. I had already devoted much time and study of sports anatomy, mobility, movement technique, and sports rehab. So, it was a natural progression for me to pursue further education and training through CrossFit. I earned my CF Level 1 certification in the fall of 2014.

I do this because I love it! My own fitness is important to me but it pales in comparison to my excitement when I see one of our athletes hit a PR or achieve a movement they thought was impossible for them. Remember, if you have a question or need help just ask. It is my goal to help you achieve the highest level of fitness that you want to work towards and to help you get there safely.
