In 2004, I was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident that ended a career in Law Enforcement, which set me back both physically and mentally. Due to the seriousness of my injury, I gained a ton of weight, and lost a bunch of self esteem. Determined to get back into some semblance of who I was, I turned to CrossFit. With CrossFit, I found the opportunity to be part of an environment that supports and strives to make Healthy, Strong, well rounded individuals, NO MATTER what condition your body is in. Though I will never come close to the level of conditioning I was at before the accident, CrossFit has enabled me to better manage my injury, thus, having a better quality of life. I truly enjoy coaching CrossFit and helping people with their physical goals, as well as being a part of the great community. It is a rewarding feeling as a coach to help someone accomplish something they once thought was impossible. I am Married to a strong, beauty of a CrossFit woman for 20 years. We have 3 crazy kids and are loving life and CrossFit!
